October 27th to 31st, our team in Brazil came together for the Internal Week for the Prevention of Workplace Accidents (SIPAT), a meaningful initiative focused on fostering a culture of safety, awareness, and care in our workplace.

Throughout the week, we explored essential topics such as:

- Upper limb safety when operating rotating machinery
- Environment and ESG practices
- First aid and firefighting- with hands-on simulations!

Jake exemplifies dedication, innovation, and teamwork. As ECI Regional Manager, he successfully led the new ONGC tender and drove momentum for Split Flow technology in his region, where the majority of applications were executed.
His initiative extended beyond his own portfolio as he volunteered to train the global BDM team on effectively presenting this key DSI differentiator to clients.
Since his presentation, Split Flow applications have gained traction worldwide, including in geothermal projects.
Jake also co-authored a SPE paper presented at a European conference, further showcasing his technical and collaborative excellence.

At SPE Offshore Europe 2025, we presented SPE-226699-MS, showcasing how the use of Multiple Activation Circulation Subs in Split-Flow Mode significantly improved hole cleaning performance in the Mariner Field, UK North Sea.

Co-authored by Jake Steele (DSI), Mubashir Qamar (Equinor), and Hoory Tossonian (SLB), this work demonstrated real-world application of Split-Flow, achieving up to 125% increase in annular flow rate!

DSI India have recently started donations to a charity in Mumbai. Bravo Football (previously called FootieFirst) is a social responsibility programme for disadvantaged boys and girls in the city who would love to play football and be part of a team, but otherwise have no means of doing so. Our support is able to provide transportation to and from daily practice sessions and weekend tournaments, help provide food and nourishment before and after games, and supply kits and balls. I had the privilege and opportunity to visit one of the practice sessions in Mumbai and get a first-hand experience of how DSI is helping to brighten the lives of boys and girls in underserved communities in Mumbai. DSI FZE recently hosted an induction week at our Dubai headquarters for newly joined members of our dedicated Business Development team as we welcomed Mark Gazey (Europe), Edward Wharam (Asia Pacific) and Yasser Atallah (Middle East & North Africa) to the DSI team and wider SBO family. The intensive week consisted of training and induction sessions with all department Global Managers, QHSE and Workshop teams with very positive feedback received from all parties. 113 Hours on a deep geothermal well

An operator in Poland needed to complete a deep geothermal well, but experienced issues with the formation washing out
and eroding. After recommendation from DSI to use the Booster tool, the Tool helped split the flow rate to the bit (67%) while
diverting 33% to the Booster Tool. This helped reduce erosion issues and allowed the customer to drill 113 hours, during which 46m was drilled to reach a depth of 6000m.

A major oil company in Mexico wanted to run a DSI PBL® Bypass System to pump and displace lost circulation material (LCM) to bridge and plug the highly fractured carbonate formation. This would allow the operator to successfully drill the well to planned TD. The operator worked with the DSI team and determined that a 6¾ inch OD PBL® Multiple Activation Bypass System should be utilized to clean out the well.

An offshore operator drilling a well in deep water West Africa wanted to thoroughly clean the 1,500m long lateral section of the well prior to running the completion assembly.
